Compared with the researches undertaken in other disciplines, the research in real estate education drew less attention from academics and professionals. This research will deal with how to appropriately construct the design of the Body of Knowledge (BoK) for Real Estate Economics (REE) course in postgraduate real estate programs at higher education institutions. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the design and teaching of the contents for REE course at universities in the UK. The receivers of the questionnaire were asked to select the topics, out of 11 given topics, which they think should be included in REE course under 5 postgraduate real estate programs. Built on the survey results that revealed the practices and opinions of British academics about what appropriate topics the REE course should cover, this research discussed what the good content design of REE course should embrace. We do hope this research could help to contribute to a better understanding and design of the BoK for REE teaching and learning at UK universities.
